Yantai Penglai International Airport

Airport Code: YNT

Yantai Penglai International Airport started operating in May, 2015, taking the place of the Laishan Airport which ended its 31 years' civil aviation transport services. Covering about 107,639 square yards (90,000 square meters), Yantai Airport is nestled at Liujiazhuang, Chaoshui Town, Penglai City, about 28 miles (45 kilometers) from downtown Yantai.

Air China (CA), China Eastern Airlines (MU), China Southern Airlines (CZ), JoyAir (JR), Shandong Airlines (SC), Shanghai Airlines (FM), Shenzhen Airlines (ZH), Sichuan Airlines (3U), Tianjin Airlines (GS), Asiana Airlines (AA), China Airlines (CI) etc.

With these airlines, Yantai is connected to many cities. The domestic ones are Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Dalian, Chongqing, Jinan, Harbin, Shijiazhuang, Hangzhou, Xi'an, Kunming, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Guiyang, Changsha, Shenyang, Chengdu, Changchun, Nanning, Yanji, Guilin, Jining, Linyi, and Taiyuan, and the international ones include Seoul, Busan, Osaka, Nagoya, Hong Kong, and Taipei

Check-in Counters: There are 48 check-in counters scattered in three check-in islands, with the direction boards marked in Chinese, English, Korean and Japanese. Passengers to international areas, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan can check in at Island A; Island C is specially set for Shandong Airlines' passengers and Island B offers check-in services for other domestic flights/airlines.

Boarding Gates: 23 boarding gates are in operation: gates nos. 1-5 are for international flights and flights to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan and gates nos. 8-23 are for domestic flights. Gates nos. 6 and 7 are for emergency use.

Note: Shuttle buses leaving from Yantai Airport are scheduled according to the arrival of the flights, so they are available for either early or late arrival.

Taxi: It takes around 50 minutes and costs CNY130-150 to the downtown area.

from Laishan yantai college area to airport any bus service and how much it cost and how long time it take to arrive at airport. any time table please guide me

You can walk about 100 meters to take Airport Bus Line 3 from International Expo Center to the airport. It costs about CNY 25 and takes about 50 minuted to get there. The bus departs at 04:45,06:00,07:00,09:00,12:00,14:00,15:00,16:00,19:30.

Upon arrival, take airport shuttle bus line 2 to Hanting Express Hotel first. Then take bus no.21 to Tianma Xiangcheng Coach Station. After arriving, walk northeast around 1km to find the hotel.

Is there a bus for this itinerary ? How frequent and how long ?
Or maybe can I take taxi ? How much will it cost ?

You can take direct bus from Penglai Coach station to the airport. It departs from 5:10 to 18:30 with interval of 30-60 minutes and CNY25.

If you take a taxi directly, the cab fare is CNY100 to CNY120 in general.

My daughter will be flying into Yantai airport at night in January

Worried for her to be safe and get a ride and hotel speaking no Chinese. Also about her phone not working there to have any communication with her. The hotel airport is suppose to be close but walking 10 minute at night on the road sounds bad to me. Just need advise for her to follow when she arrives there.

She will find clear English guide in the airport. Or she can show the hotel name to staff to decide the right direction to the hotel. Don't worry, you can trust Chinese security situation.

Maybe you can have a look at Grand joy city, located at No.150, North street, Zhifu District.
