Jiujiang Lushan airport has been officially closed on March 21, 2015, and is currently under expansion and reconstruction. The airport is a 4C standard civil and military airport with complete flight facilities and equipment. It has a runway of 2,800 meters (3062 yards) and a terminal building of 11,815 square meters (14131 square yards). Jiujiang has successively opened domestic air routes to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen and Chengdu.
