Nanning Lingli Airport

Brief Intro: With a preliminary construction scale of about 2000 mu, Nanning Lingli Airport will be the first general airport in Guangxi Province, and the only amphibious general airport in China. The airport will construct a temporary water landing filed and a runway with a length of 800 meters (875 yards) and a width of 45 meters (49 yards). In the future, the runway will be extended into 1.5 kilometers (1 miles). The parking apron will cover 37 thousand square meters (55 mu) and accommodate 21 aircraft stands.

  Location: Nanning Lingli Airport will be built near Lingli Ferry next to Yong River in Lingli Town, Qingxiu District, Guangxi Province. It is about 45 kilometers (28 miles) to downtown Nanning and about 80 kilometers (50 miles) to Wuxu International Airport.
 Terminal Building: The airport will have one terminal building in the future.
 After completion, general aviation services, such as official flights, private flights, aerial sightseeing, flight training, emergency rescue, Uav test flight and navigation, can be achieved. Besides, Lingli Airport will have services and facilities like enquiry counter, luggage storage and packing, luggage trolley, lost and found, WIFI, police and medical center for emergent situation, restaurants and shops.
 Now, Nanning Wuxu International Airport is serving the public which has flights to domestic cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shantou, Xiamen, Kunming, Chengdu, Guiyang, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan, Beijing and Xi'an. Also it has international flights to Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Djakarta, Ho Chi Minh, Phnom Penh, Rangoon, Vientiane, Seoul, Phuket and Cheju.
After arriving at the airport, passengers can take airport shuttle bus with four routes, city bus line 301 and taxi to the downtown area.
 1. Nanning Railway Station
2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the city center, Nanning Railway Station has rail lines to Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Guilin, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi’an, Hong Kong, etc.
The available transportation means to downtown Nanning include metro line 1 & line 2, bus line 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 16, 18, 19, 24, 31, 32, 33, 41, 69, 202, 203, 204, 212, 501, 605, 801 & 804 and taxi.

2. East Railway Station
Located in north side of North Fengling Road in Qingxiu District, East Railway Station is built to operate high speed train mainly to/from Beijing, Shanghai, Changsha, Wuhan, Yangshuo, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Guilin, Liuzhou and Guangzhou.
Passengers can take taxi, metro line 1 and bus line 7, 17, 28, 29, 37, 56, 82, 83, 94 & 209 traveling to the city center.
 Mt Qnigxiu has been a famous summer resort since ancient times. It is located by Yongjiang River, 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) southeast to downtown Nanning. The most symbolic architecture is Longxiang Tower on the top of the mountain. The nine-storey tower is in the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). From the top of the tower, tourists can have a bird view of Nanning City. Besides, the two large artificial lakes, Tianshi and Yaochi Lakes, are on the mountainside.
