How to Travel between Beijing and Tianjin

Flight is not available between Beijing and Tianjin as they are only about 135km (84mi) apart. The major modes of transportation between the two cities are the 20-70 minutes’ intercity high speed trains, 1.5-2hours' normal speed trains and the 3-3.5 hours’ long-distance bus. The high speed trains cost CNY35-66.5, the normal speed trains cost CNY17.5-24.5 and the long distance buses take CNY25-70.

How to Get to Tianjin from Beijing Capital Airport (PEK) & Daxing Airport (PKX)

From Capital Airport

Airport-Downtown Shuttle Bus + Bullet Train: 1.5-2.5 hours, CNY 68.5-96.5
Take the shuttle bus Beijing South Railway Station Line from Capital Airport to Beijing South Railway Station in 70-80 minutes at a cost of CNY30. It serves from 08:00 to 22:00 with the frequency of an hour. Then catch a high speed train to Tianjin.

Airport Express Train + Subway + Bullet Train: 1.5-2.5 hours, CNY 68.5-96.5
Take Airport Express Train to Dongzhimen first, transfer to subway line 2 Xuanwumen station. Get off and take line 4 to South Railway Station. It takes around 70 minutes and costs CNY30. Go to Tianjin by high speed train afterwards.

To travel from Tianjin Railway Station to Tianjin Airport, one can take subway line 2 to the airport without any transfer, which takes about 35 minutes and CNY3. Taking a taxi costs CNY50-80 to reach the airport within 25min.

From Daxing Airport

Airport Express Train + Subway + Bullet Train: 1-2h; CNY76.5-104.5
→ Take Daxing Airport Express to Caoqiao, transfer to line 19 to Jingfengmen, and then get off, take line 14 to Beijing South Railway Station. It takes about 50 minutes and CNY38.
→ Take high speed train at South Railway Station to Tianjin.

How to get to Tianjin International Cruise Home Port from Beijing Capital Airport & Daxing Airport

From Capital Airport

Airport Shuttle Bus + High Speed Train + City Bus/Taxi: 2.5-4h; CNY98.5-186.5
→ Take the shuttle bus Beijing South Railway Station Line from Capital Airport to Beijing South Railway Station: 70-80 minutes, CNY30
→ Take high speed train to Binhai Railway Station, the closest high speed train station from the Cruise Port. 25 trains run from Beijing South to Binhai Railway Station daily from 6:00-22:10 with a duration of 50-70 minutes.
It costs CNY66.5 for 2nd Class Seat.
→ Take Bus No. 513 to the port: 06:00- 19:00; 1.5h; CNY2; or take a taxi to get there: 30min; CNY70-90

From Daxing Airport

Beijing Subway + High Speed Train + City Bus/Taxi: 2.5-3.5h; CNY106.5-200

→ Metro line 2 to Tianjin Railway Station: 30min; CNY 3
→ High speed train to Beijing South Railway Station: 20-70min; CNY 35-54.5 for 2nd Class Seat
→ Airport shuttle bus Beijing South Railway Station Line to PEK: 70-80min; CNY 30

To Daxing Airport

Tianjin Subway + High Speed Train + Beijing Subway: 1.5-2.5h; CNY76-95.5
→ Metro line 2 to Tianjin Railway Station;
→ High speed train to Beijing South Railway Station;

Tianjin Cruise port to Binhai Railway station.

Which is the best / cheapest way to get from the port to Binhai railway station.

It is suggested to take bus no.513 from the port to the railway station directly. The operating hours of this bus line are from 07:30 to 18:00. The ticket fare is CNY2 per person.

To Tongsha Bus Station: It runs from 8:00 till the last flight arrival with frequency of 30 mins and CNY15.
To West Bus Station: It runs from 8:15 to 16:15 with frequency of 1 hour and CNY20.

Upon landing, you can take airport shuttle bus to get to Tianjin Tianhuan Coach Station first. Then take a taxi to the cruise terminal.

If i take coach bus directly from Tianjin Airport to Beijing, how much cost will it be? Is it 30元 or 60元?

The coach bus between these two places costs CNY35/person. The departure times are 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 17:00, 19:00 to Bawangfen Station.

Yes, you can easily find public bus no.513 to Civil Square Station. Then take metro line 9 to TJ Railway Station. After arriving, there are pairs of bullet trains that can take you to Beijing.
