Sorry to tell you I didn’t hear about such a community in the area, but there are much more foreigners in Sanlitun Bar Street, Chaoyang District. Maybe you could go there to make some friends.

From any subway station of Line 10 in Chaoyang District, you can get off at Dahongmen Station. Then walk to the Guoyuan Station, Nanyuan Road to take the bus 926 and get off at Caiweilu Beikou. Then walk about 290 meters to the Caiyu Town, the grape town in Daxing.

Hi, Simon, the house rental depends on which place are you staying. Generally speaking, it is about 900 RMB to 1300 RMB per month. Some good condition house can be charged higher in about 1500 RMB.

Hi, Simon.
The rental of 1500 was the price almost six years ago. I have been living in Daxing district for several years. As far as I know, now the general price is about 2500-3500 RMB for two bedrooms and living room. The house is decorated a little bit. If you want to live in a small one, it will be a little cheaper. But as you know, the rental price in Beijing is so high.
From main area of Daxing to Beijing, it will cost you about 35-40 minutes by subway.
