What to Expect

Located in the center of Beijing, Beihai Park is the earliest and the best preserved classical royal garden in China. Witnessing the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties for nearly a thousand years, it is the foremost representation of royal gardens and a masterpiece of culture and art of ancient times. Beihai Park draws on gardening techniques from various places. It has not only the magnificence of gardens in north China but also the graceful charm of private gardens in south China.

White Dagoba

The White Dagoba is the landmark of Beihai Park, which is on the top of a hill in the Jade Flowery Islet. It is a Tibetan dagoba symbolizing that Buddhist doctrine shines on the earth and is as radiant as the sun and the moon.

It's open on Mondays. You don't need a reservation as you enjoy the free ticket but need to get a free ticket at the ticket center with your passport.

About Tickets
Hello, can I buy the tickets in person when I arrive in Beijing because I don't know when my tour of the city will end? And do you accept foreigners into the park and also rent boats?

For the parks like Beihai Park, Jingshan Park, you can buy the ticket after arrival but for some popular attractions like Summer Palace, Forbidden City ... you need to book even a week in advance. You can go to the park and rent boats, no special limit for foreigners.
