Chengdu Botanical Garden
Covering a total area of 42 hectares (104 acres), the Chengdu Botanical Garden is about 10 kilometers (6 miles) north of the city proper. In 1990, the garden was listed as one of the top eight landscapes in Chengdu, and was named 'Embodied Treasures in a Green Sea'. The plants in the Chengdu Botanical Garden exceed 2,000 species, including over 1,000 species of woody plants and 800 species of horticultural plants. Visitors can enjoy many kinds of plants and breathe the fresh air. The garden is divided into four areas: the Flower Appreciating Area, Recreation Area, Tree Woods, and Experimental Center.
The Flower Appreciating Area in the western section of the garden consists of many exclusive gardens, including Plum Blossom Garden, Cherry Garden, Magnolia Garden, Crabapple Garden, Osmanthus Garden, Camellia Garden, Conifer Garden, Pear Garden, Cotton Rose Garden, Bamboo Groves, and Vine Garden. A Spring Flower Show is held annually from early March to early April. Visitors can see a great variety of flowers in full blossom. It is also the most ideal time for a visit to Chengdu Botanical Garden.
The Recreation Area inside Chengdu Botanical Garden is a comprehensive service area. Visitors can enjoy food, have fun and see popular science exhibitions there. Stone trails wind their way through tall trees which provide shelter for visitors. They can enjoy beautiful flowers while listening to the hum of bees and the chirp of birds. In the gentle breeze, visitors can close their eyes and take a deep breath in a natural oxygen bar. Children can fly Chinese kites, and lovers can stroll hand in hand on the path, tranquil and relaxed. Middle-aged people can drink tea or play mahjong at their leisure. Senior citizens can sing songs or perform Tai Chi.
Located in the eastern section of the Chengdu Botanical Garden, the Tree Woods Area is comprised of a Chinese Red Pine Wood, an Oak Wood, and a 2 hectares (5-acre) lawn. Moreover, Camphor Woods, Cypress Woods, and Happy Tree Groves can also be found there. The lush trees, exuberant shrubs and green herbs contribute to the high oxygen content of the garden.
Located in the northern section of the Chengdu Botanical Garden, the Experimental Area covers 4 hectares (10 acres). It is a place where different plants are domesticated and bred. It is not open to the public. Here, researchers try to introduce wild plants from western Sichuan Province in accordance with the regional distribution principle of plants. They gradually decrease the living altitudes of wild plants, and make them adapt to the local climate. Many species of wild plants have been domesticated for city greening.
Take bus line 143, 254, 650a, 650, 653, 658, 659, or 660, to Zhi Wu Yuan (Chengdu Botanical Garden) Station. Then, walk east for about 200m (200 yards) to the park.

I am afraid not. The scenic area doesn't open at that time because of the virus.
