Shenyang Xinglong Indoor Park & Glacier Zoological Paradise

Shenyang Xinglong Indoor Park, located in the center of Shenyang City, is the only indoor green garden and entertainment venue in Shenyang. It is a botanical garden where visitors may enjoy spring throughout the year. Like a picturesque painting roll, the park is embraced by shading trees, colorful blooming flowers, murmuring brooks and elegant pavilions. Rambling in the park, visitors will feel an enveloping greenness, cool and fresh that is so precious in the modern concrete city. In addition to various plants, many animals call the park their home. Some of them are naughty, such as the sloth monkey and flying squirrel, but others are lovely, such as the mini-ostrich and black small-eared pig.

Shenyang Xinglong Indoor Park is also an amusement park, sometimes aptly known as an “Indoor Disney.”  The Children’s World, the largest children leisure ground in northeastern China, is equipped with multiple rides. The Iwerk 4-D theater attracts many filmgoers to a brand new experience. Other attractions include a shooting gallery, skate land, a pottery workshop, and a chess and poker room.

The Shenyang Xinglong Indoor Park is a recreational oasis, offering a retreat of sort from the modern quick-paced city life.
 1. Take Subway Line 1 to Central Street and leave from Exit B2, then walk west for 3 minutes to get to the park.
2. Take Bus 118, 132, 140, 213, 222, 228, 251, 276, 287, 290, 292, or 296 to Zhongjie  and you will see it.

Shenyang Glacier Zoological Paradise (formerly the Shenyang City Zoo), located at the Mt. Qipanshan Forest Wild Animal Zoo, covers an area of 240 hectares (590 acres) that includes the pavement, the car-riding area and an amusement park. It is a brand-new theme park where visitors and animals join in the fun.

The 45 hectares (110 acres) pavement offers visitors a close-up observation of many rare animals, such as pandas, Asian elephants, leopards, lesser pandas, polar bears and sharks. There are performances like the tigers and lions jumping through a ring of fire, sheep standing on flower vase, and bears playing on the swing, amongst others.

The car-riding area is made up of the bear hill, tiger mountain, wolf valley, African grasslands, Asian grasslands and waterfowl lake. By hiring a bus or driving one’s own car, visitors are able to enjoy an adventurous journey.

What’s more, Shenyang Glacier Zoological Paradise has many rides in the amusement park, such as the crazy roller coaster, space chair and bumper car. Visitors are guaranteed a day of fun and entertainment to their satisfaction.
