Water plays a crucial role in the garden, with extensive interconnected water bodies occupying approximately one-third of its total area. The clear water is decorated by charming pavilions standing gracefully on it, while the arched bridges add a touch of gracefulness, presenting a serene and idyllic panorama.
There are also numerous rockeries crafted with precision. These rock formations, combined with lush trees and colorful flowers, form a variety of enchanting landscapes. Distant Fragrance Hall (Yuanxiang Tang): This is the main building in the central part of the garden, from here, you can enjoy the captivating scent of lotus flowers in summer. The reflection of the hall on the water, together with the surrounding pavilions, trees and flowers, forms a beautiful picture, making you feel like walking through a vivid Chinese painting.
Small Flying Rainbow (Xiaofei Hong): Looks like a rainbow spanning over the water when reflected in the clear pond. It not only serves as a passageway but also an important landscape element, connecting different parts of the garden and creating a unique visual effect.
