What to Expect

Canglang Pavilion, it is the core scenic spot of the garden, built by Su Shunqin in the Northern Song Dynasty. Standing on the mountain ridge, it has a classic and magnificent structure with stone pillars and flying eaves.

Mingdao Hall, the main building in the garden, formerly used as a place for ancient scholars to give lectures and study. The hall is of brick and wood structure, with an open and spacious layout, looking solemn and majestic. Inside the hall, there are rubbings of three stone tablets including the astronomic picture, geographic picture and pingjiang prefecture map, which are precious cultural relics.
