As the upper terminal of peak tram, Peak Tower is a seven-storey bowl-shaped building on Hong Kong Island's Victoria Peak. Originally built in 1971, it has been repaired and reconstructed several times and has witnessed the many changes that have occurred in Hong Kong. Nowadays, it is a must-go tourist spot in the city, where attraction sites, entertainment facilities, shopping malls and catering services are available.

The 360° viewing platform on the top of the Peak Tower– the Sky Terrace 428 has introduced many tourists to a new sightseeing experience. The terrace takes up an area of 686 square feet, which can accommodate 500 people at one time. With an altitude of 428 meters (1,404 feet), it is the most advantageous location to enjoy the panorama of Hong Kong. Facing east on the viewing-terrace, tourists can have a good view of the scenery on both sides of Victoria Harbour. The night scene there is beautiful and breath-taking. To the west tourists can view Lantau Island and its surrounding smaller islands as well as the South China Sea.
Standing on Sky Terrace 428, you will feel that you are on top of the world. The unparalleled view is indeed a feast for the eyes. Climbing up to the terrace at a different time of day, you might have a different experience and feeling. It is a must for sightseeing in Hong Kong.

How to get to Peak Tower
Note: The Peak Tram will suspend service for around two or three months for upgrading from April 23, 2019.
By Bus: Take bus no. 15 at the Central Bus Terminus, which is near Star Ferry Pier 5.
Or take green minibus no. 1 from Central (Two IFC) to the peak.
Nearby Attractions:
Zoological and Botanical Gardens: Located to the northeast of the Peak Tower, it houses rare animals and plants. It is a public green area that is especially enjoyable for families with kids.
Hong Kong Park: It is next to the Zoological and Botanical Gardens. With beautiful natural scenery, the park a good place to relax.
