Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis Sanya

As the only waterpark open all year round in China, Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis Sanya in Hainan Province is equipped with numerous entertainment facilities like Wave Pool, Speedloop, Rocket Blaster, Rapids River…. Here, we have summarized the activities worth exploring for your reference.
 

Tourists will swing with the water flow increasingly accelerated by three consecutive zig-zag slides, with a total length of around 200m (656 feet).
 

This is a group activity. Each raft will carry two or four people, depending on the participants’ weight. Tourists will slump to a water slide with a 45° inclination at a velocity of 13m (42.6 feet) per second, and then rush to another summit of 8-storey height. Players will experience a genuine sense of weightlessness with accelerated heartbeat.
 

Want to feel the surge of adrenaline? Then do not miss Wave rider! The raft will irresistibly slide along the curved surface back and forth by gravity, for the altitude difference is up to 23m (75 feet)!
 

The watercourse is 1,800m long (1.1 mile) and encircles the whole Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark. When screaming among the twists and turns, tourists can also enjoy the Atlantis landscape from a new perspective.
 

Splashers is a 3-storey children’s pool free from any raft or swimming ring. The first storey is only for children, and adults are admissible to the second and third. Splashers is equipped with 19 colorful water slides shaped like animated figures such as octopus and mermaid. Once kids get in, they will linger here for the whole day!
 

At Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, Ray Feeding is the most popular activity. Under professional instruction, you will feed cow-nosed rays, potted eagle rays and other rare rays on your own. It will be an unforgettable experience.
 

The most advanced underwater helmet will enable you wander freely in the sea, interacting with sharks, rays, and colorful tropical fish. This activity is not available to kids under 8 years old.
 

In the aquarium, tourists can drive a crystal boat made of transparent glass, peacefully roaming along the Ambassador Lagoon. The distance between human and ocean creatures will be shortened by the opportunity of touching starfish, cushion stars, sea apples and bamboo sharks.
 

 1. Free hotel shuttle buses run between Haiyue Square, Summer Mall, Yalong Bay Underwater World, Sanya Phoenix Airport and Atlantis Sanya. The drop-off and pick-up point is at the entrance in front of the Lost Chambers Atlantis Aquarium, from where tourists can walk to Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark. 

 2. Take bus 33 or Haitang Bay 3 to Atlantis Hotel; or bus 35 to Atlantis, then walk there.
