Located on the east bank of Guilin Li River and covering an area of about 137.4 hectares, Seven Stars Scenic Area is the largest comprehensive park with magnificent landscape in Guilin since the Sui (581-618) and Tang (618-907) Dynasties. The key sights contain Flower Bridge, Camel Hill, Seven Stars Cave, Putuo Mountain, Guilin Zoo, Crescent Mountain, Guihai Stele Forest and Light of China Square.
After entering the park, you will across the ancient stone-arch flower bridge which is full of blooming flowers every spring and summer. Keep moving on, the waterfall, mountains, rivers, pavilions and cultural relics come into view. Wild macaques free ranging along the way, they can even have fun with tourists.
The Seven Stars cave and Camel hill epitomize more on the natural beauty. When you walk leisurely into the cave, you will be attracted by its magnificent view of karst landscapes. The Camel hill gains the name because of its lifelike image. It vividly resembles a camel lying on the ground. When the dawn comes, the glow of sunrise shines on the rocks and the glorious sight of camel hill would take your breath away. No wonder people say that Guilin's scenery is peerless in the world. You will find it really worthy of the reputation after visiting.
There are bonsai gardens, the Guilin Zoo and teahouses around the hill where visitors can take a short break and enjoy their peaceful time in Guilin.
