Li River Cruise Schedule
1. The 3-star ships sail at 09:30; 10:30 and 12:05 every day generally, we suggest you collect the paper ticket at least 40 minutes before sailing time. The whole cruise journey takes about 4 hours.
2. The schedule is subject to change depending on weather and hydrological conditions.

The best scenery is at the 20-km lane from Yangdi to Xingping. The wonderful sights defy description. You will see Mural Hill, Writing Brush Peak and Yellow Cloth Shoal, where the background pattern on the current version of the 20-yuan banknote of China was filmed.

The beauty of Li River lies in the reflections, and the most beautiful reflection is at Yellow Cloth Shoal. The river is clear and you can see a large beige slate at the riverbed, which is just like a yellow cloth. And the Yellow Cloth Shoal was named after this phenomenon.

You can also see a marvelous hill on the bank of Li River like a relief of nine running horses. With the colorful and layered plants in the hill, it is like a vivid mural on the cliff. Hence the name Mural Hill.

How to get to the Mopanshan Wharf?
If you buy our transfer service while booking the ticket, we will appoint a guide to pick you up at your hotel and accompany you to the wharf by car.

If you go there by yourself, you can take the shuttle bus from Guilin Railway Station to Mopanshan Wharf. The shuttle bus departs at 7:20, 8:20, 9:20 and 16:00.

If you book a Li River 3-star cruise ticket on our website, we will deliver the tickets to your hotel in Guilin.

Do you have any advice for lunch if I travel with a kid?

Kids between 1.2m and 1.49m (3.9 - 4.9ft) need to buy a kids’ Li River cruise ticket with a lunch included. Kids below 1.2m can board the ship for free, but they cannot enjoy the free box lunch. Food onboard is simple and may not meet your requirements. Please be prepared.

If I use the transfer service, when will the tour guide contact me to make an appointment?

Our guide will contact you one day in advance to confirm the time for picking you up. The next day, our guide will accompany you to the dock and help you to embark. After that, the guide and driver will leave and you can have a free time onboard.
