Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Zhuhai

Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, a part of the Chimelong International Ocean Resort, is located in Hengqin District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. Dubbed as the "Orlando of China", the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is the world’s largest ocean-theme fairyland including 8 theme areas. Visitors can see many kinds of rare marine animals including more than 15,000 fish, and challenge the longest roller coaster in the world. This is also an especially family-friendly park that children can experience interesting children’s climbing programs and appreciate wonderful 5D Theater Shows. In addition, visitors can enjoy the world’s largest-scale ocean themed Float Parade, special Hengqin Ocean Spectacular and other large outdoor programs. Ocean Avenue is at the entrance to the Zhuhai Ocean Kingdom. Behind the giant Manta Ray sculpture, it is a giant LED screen showing various animals in the deep sea world, and the avenue is lined with shops for visitors to eat or buy souvenirs.
 

Turn right after entering the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Zhuhai, and you will see the Dolphin Cove. There are 5D Castle Theater and Dolphin Theater in the area where you can know more information about dolphins. You can see the lovely Chinese White Dolphin chasing the waves and experience exciting Rotating Water Battle.
 

This area is located on the western side of the Dolphin Cove. Visitors can watch manatees known as “mermaids” from West Africa and over 60 species of rare freshwater fish like Chinese Sturgeon. Visitors also have the opportunity to experience the breathtaking Parrot Roller Coaster and 40-meter-high (131 feet) or 25-meter-high (82 feet) Lifting Tower in the area.
 

There is a Whale Shark Aquarium, and its appearance is a giant blue whale shark. In the romantic curved underwater promenade, visitors can watch a colorful sea world with thousands of rare fishes, especially the Whale Shark and Manta Rays that are 4 meters (13 feet) in diameter. Besides, visitors can try the Submarine Interactive Vessel to embark on an amazing adventure of the deep ocean.
 

Hengqin Ocean is located in the center of the whole Chimelong Ocean Kingdom. Most of the large-scale performances are held in and around the Hengqin Ocean. Visitors can enjoy the Musical Fountain, Chimelong Ocean Parade, Fly Board Spectacular, Journey of Lights Parade, Ocean Resistance…
 

Polar Exploration is on the south side of the Ocean Wonders. There are three pavilions where you can see the Polar Bear’s vigorous swimming stroke and the white Snow Fox up close; enjoy the world’s largest Emperor Penguin and the cute Adelie Penguins at the Penguin Exhibit; say hello to the chubby Beluga Whale. And there is a Beluga Theater showing that features the cuddly beluga whales perform difficult jumps and 360-degree spins in the water. Hero Island is on the east side of the Zhuhai Ocean Kingdom. There are three animal houses: a house for otters, a touchable pool of coastal animals and the Manta Rays Pool. Children will especially like the three pavilions where the kids can see the lovely otters, touch starfish and sea urchins and get a close look at the Manta Rays’ unique swimming moves. Parents and children can also experience Bumper Cars in this theme area to enrich the journey to the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, Zhuhai.
 

Walrus Hill is to the left of the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom’s entrance. Visitors can see cuddly walrus and a lot of marine birds like the pelican in the Sea Bird Paradise. Children can also enjoy a mysterious castle adventure with their parents in the Sand Castle. In addition, Mountain Dew Sailing and Jungle Roller Coasters are also must-try adventures in Walrus Hill.
 

There are 7 theme restaurants in the Zhuhai Ocean Kingdom, among which the Undersea Restaurant is the must-try one. The underwater restaurant is connected to the Whale Shark Aquarium, where visitors can enjoy delicious food while viewing rare marine animals through the glass viewing screen, which will give them a panoramic view of the underwater world and an unforgettable experience.

1. Visitors can take Shuttle Buses from Macau, Hong Kong International Airport, Zhuhai Jinwan International Airport, Zhuhai Railway Station, Jiuzhou Port, Guangzhou Chimelong Hotel to ChimeLong Resort.
2. Take bus lines 14, 86, K10, K11, 755, 826-3, Z55 or Smart Bus line 2 to Chimelong Station.

2. Tourists are not allowed to bring in other food or drinks except for baby food and proper drinking water.
3. Be sure to bring RMB cash because many programs charge cash only.
4. It is recommended to bring the stroller for the children under 2 years of age or rent the stroller in the park for the children over age 2.
5. Don’t wear dresses and slippers if you’re on a roller coaster.
