Beijing Snow World Ski Resort

Beijing Snow World Ski Resort, or Xueshijie Ski Resort, lying in Changping District, 43 km (27 mi) to the northwest of Beijing city center, is the nearest ski resort to downtown area. It can serve more than 1,800 skiers at the same time, covering an area of 500,000 square meters (123 acres) with the ski trails accounting up to 100,000 square meters (24.7 acres). There are primary ski trails, intermediate trails, advanced trails and international-level trails designed for all ski lovers.
 

Complete Ski Trails and Equipment

In Beijing Xueshijie Ski Resort, there is one intermediate trail and one advanced trail of which are 500m in length, 3 international-level 380-meter ski trails and one snowboard trail. Primary trails are also provided for beginners. It also provides the skiers more than 3,000 sets of ski equipment with different types and sizes. In addition, there is also a variety of recreational equipment that is built for those who intend to explore the diverse skiing and those who are afraid of setting foot on the real ski trails like snowmobile, sledding, snow flying saucer and children’s snow playground. For convenience, there also are the exclusive channel and specialized areas for team visitors. World-advanced snow pressure machine and snow-making machine imported from America and Canada provide comfortable ski sites for visitors.
 

Sino-Switzerland Skiing School

Beijing Snow World Ski Resort and Switzerland, a giant power in skiing worldwide, have co-built Sino-Switzerland Skiing School on the ground and they are determined to provide people a safe place to learn how to ski in a more effective way. Each year, overseas professional ski instructors are invited to provide advanced training. Also more than 10 professional coaches are always there for help. For beginners, you can receive the best instruction from the very beginning of your ski exercise while for intermediate and advanced skiers you can get the chance to make your skill honed under the teaching of the professional coaches.
 

Ice Sculpture Museum

In the ice sculpture museum in Beijing Snow World Ski Resort, visitors can appreciate vivid ice sculptures and ice lanterns made by famous sculptors from all around the world.
 

Where to Dine

Various café, Chinese restaurant, Western restaurant and fast food restaurant offer you many choices. 500 people can have a meal at the same time.
 

How to Get to Beijing Xueshijie Ski Resort

Take bus 872 at Deshengmen and debus at the station Changping Jiantou Village, then transfer to Chang 53 and get off at Xianguo Leyuan station, then walk about 300 meters (328 yards) to get to Beijing Snow World Ski Resort.
 

Opening Time

The ski resort is open in snow season which varies every year, mostly from the late of Nov. or the beginning of Dec. to the middle of Mar. The business hours are 08:30 - 18:00 in the daytime.
