Due to their friendly nature, they bond very quickly and it’s easier to make friends with them. There is a high chance that you might be invited for a traditional nomadic meal or stay overnight at their personal gear (tent). As a goodwill gesture, you can always bring in some food or drinks for the family.

3. Follow the rules of the ger

The Ger is the traditional home of the nomadic tribes of Mongolia and is made of white clothes. It is important to follow the rules while staying inside so that the travelers do not offend the homeowners. For starters, do not point your fingers to someone while sitting opposite. Also, accept food and drinks offered to you. Use the right hand to receive or offer gifts.
 

4. Stay hydrated

Remember to stay hydrated while on your trip to the country. Also, keep your stash of moisturizer and lip balms handy when you visit Mongolia. The dry weather and cold weather conditions can make it difficult for you to survive without proper hydration. You will often feel parched and dry during the trip, especially in the desert area.

6. Naadam Festival and the expectations

The annual Naadam Festival, a huge crowd puller, begins with a parade and features archery, wrestling, and horse racing competition. The Naadam Festival is an excellent way to experience the local culture, however, do not expect something similar to the Super Bowl.
