Recommendation Rate of Travel:

It is highly advised to take a stroll at the city’s most iconic stone arch monument, Gateway of India. Then appreciate beautiful Art Deco style colonial buildings including Bombay High Court, the gorgeous Chhatrapati Shivaji Mahaji Terminus, dubbed the most beautiful train station in India, and Mumbai University. Visiting indoor museums is also a good choice when it is raining outside. The most unmissable one is the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum, formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum. The museum collects a lot of treasures including pottery, intricate Buddhist sculptures, and some exhibits from China and Japan. The museum itself is also worth a careful appreciation, featuring a three-storey domed architecture with typical Indian and Islamic styles. Another museum worth going is the Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum, once the residence of Gandhi, displaying the life story of the hero.

Tips

1. Mosquito repellent should be prepared while visiting Mumbai in the monsoon season.
2. Always take a rain coat or an umbrella with you when doing outdoor activities.
