Pictures of Shanghai Old Street

Shanghai Old Street, is a road, close to the Yuyuan Garden that shows the cultural development of Old Shanghai from the Ming and Qing Dynasties until immediately prior to 1949. On this street, one can buy all kinds of traditional handcrafts representative of the Shanghai folk culture. The two different styles of architecture highlight the street. On eastern side of the street there are buildings in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, while on the western side is the architecture of Old Shanghai.
