Traditional martial arts academy

I would like to study martial arts at a traditional academy, but it is not an accredited university. I would like to stay there for one year. Since the martial arts academy is not a degree-bearing university, is the X visa still an option? If so, can the JW201/202 form be submitted even without the degree and other information that would be non-applicable to my situation?

I don't think X visa match the purpose, maybe a S visa for private affair is suitable.

In your case, you should apply for an F visa.

I want to study in Shanghai asap (more on finance related courses)

I chose Shanghai because I have a friend there and I want to accompany my friend - that is my main purpose. Since China is not issuing tourist visa as of the moment, is study visa my best way to go? Or can I apply for other visa (I don't have a family member there)? Is it still possible to enroll in spring semester currently? Thanks.

If your purpose of coming here is study, you can only apply for a student visa. It's kind of late if you plan to be enrolled for the spring semester.

I am interested to do master in economics or finance

I have done my graduation in 2007 .after that u am working but now like to continue so which university can give me admission because I have an educational gap.
I want the university is offering low cost education.even in any part of china.thats not matter.
If not in main city the cost of living us also cheaper.

You can choose universities in second line cities where the cost of living will be lower like Xi'an. Since there are so many colleges in China, you’d better search the information on some official websites. It is suggested to choose a college carefully or you will waste your time.
