Train tickets:
For China internal tickets, we only charge a booking service fee of USD6 per ticket.

Entrance Tickets:
We charge a booking service fee low to USD4 per ticket.

To confirm a booking, full payment is required. We accept payment mostly by PayPal (Or credit cards via PayPal), and we also accept payment by Wechat, Alipay and China domestic bank transfer. We will keep checking the ticket status. Once we receive your payment, we will issue the tickets immediately and inform you without delay.
Change, Cancellation & Refund
Changes (Except Trains to/out of Hong Kong):
  • FREE changes before the ticket is issued.
  • FREE changes after the ticket is issued but 8 days before the train departure date. The new train should be within the selling date released by China Rail.
  • For changes made within 7 days before departure, 5% to 20% of the ticket par value will be charged as a change fee:
    -- 5% for changes made more than 48 hours before departure;
    -- 10% for changes made 24-48 hours before departure;
    -- 20% for changes made within 24 hours before departure.
  • Departure station and passenger information cannot be changed once the ticket is issued.
  • TravelChinaGuide cannot accept changes within 24 hours before departure time.
  • Change requests should be sent to us via email. And the requests for change will be subject to our confirmation.
  • Second time change is regarded as CANCELLATION (see below).
  • If the reimbursement voucher has been collected at train station, then changes can only be made by passengers themselves with all reimbursement voucher and all passports presented at railway stations.

Cancellation & Refund (Except Trains to/out of Hong Kong)
  • FREE cancellation before ticket is issued.
  • Cancellation after the ticket is issued:
    The cancellation fee is 20% of the ticket par value, and the service fee is non-refundable.
  • TravelChinaGuide cannot accept cancellation within 24 hours before departure time.
  • Cancellation request should be sent to us via email. And the requests for cancellation will be subject to our confirmation.
  • If the reimbursement voucher has been collected at train station, then cancellation can only be made by passengers themselves with all reimbursement voucher and all passports presented at train stations. The service fee is non-refundable.
  • A cancellation request after the train departure won't be accepted by China Railway Corporation, therefore there will be no refund.

Change & Cancellation Policy for Trains to/out of Hong Kong
  • According to the regulations of China Railway and Hong Kong Railway authorities, trains to/out of Hong Kong adopt different change/ cancellation policies as below.
  • Change:
    FREE changes before the ticket is issued.

    Once the ticket is issued, China Rail only accepts a change with the new departure time/ date that is earlier than the original one. And 5% to 20% of the ticket par value will be charged as a change fee:
    -- 5% for changes made more than 48 hours before departure;
    -- 10% for changes made 24-48 hours before departure;
    -- 20% for changes made within 24 hours before departure.
    After the ticket is issued, the departure/ arrival stations and passenger information cannot be changed. Once the ticket is changed, no cancellation is allowed by China Rail and Hong Kong Railway authorities, thus there is no refund.
  • Cancellation:
    -- After the ticket is issued, 20% - 50% of the ticket par value will be charged as the cancellation fee, and the service fee is non-refundable:
    -- 20% for cancellations made more than 8 days before departure;
    -- 30% for cancellations made 48 hours - 7 days before departure;
    -- 50% for cancellations made within 48 hours before departure.
    -- Please allow us at least 24 hours to handle the cancellation request. The final cancellation fee is subject to the handling time.
    -- TravelChinaGuide cannot accept change or cancellation within 24 hours before departure time. And the requests for change/ cancellation will be subject to our confirmation.
