You want to apply for China permanent residency? Well, as I know it's pretty hard to get one. You need to work in China (with a high position) for at least three years and pay taxes, and make 3-year good investment in China, or you have made great contribution to China. And you need to apply it at China government above city level.

Visa-Information
Hi,
I went to China more than 20 years ago, but I didn't keep any of the information ( visa number etc.) . I'm about to apply for a tourist visa and they ask for all those information. What should I do ?

If you cannot provide the info of the old one, I'm afraid you can only apply for the new one as it is the first-time application. Sorry for that:(

It depends on luck, but generally it won't take too much time. I advise you to make the appointment right at the moment the seats are released.

In China on a working visa. I Need to get criminal record check authenticated
I have a working visa and currently am in China. It expires January 2021. I need to get my criminal record check authenticated. I am wondering if I need to get an agent to do this for me and what is the best/ most affordable agent. My criminal record check is from New Brunswick.
Are they open to authenticating now?
Thanks.

If you don't plan to leave China, you can ask an agent to do this for you, but I have no idea which agent is the most recommended.
